Student Gold Pack - Bread Packaging

The project brief was to create a graphic solution for a new range of fresh bread packaging, in the popular flexible bread bag. The brief further stated that the graphics should position the benefits of the bread, engaging and enticing consumers to purchase this new brand as opposed to others. The concept of this project was to create a brand of bread specifically for singles (peopleliving alone) or students. The problem in the market at this point is that a product like this does not exist. Single people and students are loyal to brands which offer them value for money and convenience. My brand offers exactly that. With the introduction of this product the consumer can buy a portion which suits their needs and would never have to throw away a stale loaf of bread. The product is called PRONTO quarter loafs and consists of a range of three different loafs - White, Brown and Whole Wheat. Everey loaf is linked to a certain type of person within my target market.
The packaging is made from a thick plastic material which gives structure to the box - adds a bit of protection to the product during transit and handling. The traditional plastic bag does not offer much protection to the product and more often than not you end up with a squashed loaf of bread when you get home. The box has
two layers overlapping when the box is closed - offering a certain amount of resealability for keeping the contents fresh.
White - For the everyday Joe - ANYONE, ANY DAY, ANY TIME
Brown - For the workaholic - ON THE GO
Whole Wheat - For the sporty - QUICK AND EASY
